Environmental Regulations

This course provides plain-language explanations of legal concepts and environmental legislation to assist professionals, such as engineers, consultants, environmental managers, plant managers, enforcement officers and others who are frequently required to understand aspects of environmental regulations.

Courses range from a general overview of environmental legislation, to detailed consideration of a particular law (i.e. Nova Scotia Environment Act) or legal concept (i.e. nuisance or riparian rights).

This course can be offered in a range of formats.

Lisa Mitchell serves as the lead instructor of a four-day version of this course offered through Dalhousie University Continuing Technical Education.
